Jessica Simpson, better known to the world as WaxMyBalls guy, Jessica Yaniv formerly Jonathan Yaniv, has abused the BC court system, and most recently the Intimate Images protection department of the BC CRT.
The BC Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT) is a collection of lawyers – not judges – that have been provided the power to determine the outcome of small claims. If the decisions made in this tiny non-court system are questionable, the case can be bumped up to a real court in the BC Supreme Court for a judical review.
Typically, the BC CRT handles small claims. It also has been given power to handle intimate image cases, in the hope that they would be resolved quicker for true victims, rather than waiting in the queue of the real court.
Precedents Set by BC CRT Could have Worldwide Legal Repercussions
MeowMix are in agreement with the world view, that global blocking is overreach on the part of this BC CRT claim.
Tribunal vice-chair Eric Regehr’s order for X to remove posts worldwide overstepped its authority, X’s Canadian lawyer, Andrew Bernstein of Toronto, argued in the appeal.
Letting it stand “would mean foreign courts would also have the power to dictate what Canadian citizens can see on the internet by issuing similar global blocking orders based on their own local laws,” Bernstein said.
For instance, a court in a hostile foreign country could order X to remove posts made by a Canadian prime minister or premier and the posts would disappear from the internet, even in Canada, he said.
The European Union, Brazil, Australia and the United Kingdom have all “declined to impose the type of global blocking that the vice chair” issued under B.C.’s Intimate Images Protection Act.

What is the BC CRT?
- An online tribunal: The CRT is Canada’s first online tribunal, designed to make resolving civil disputes easier and more accessible.
- Operates under the authority of the Civil Resolution Tribunal Act.
- Alternative to court: It allows for resolutions without a lawyer or going to court, encouraging a collaborative approach.
- Meant for small claims under $5,000 for employment, or housing related conflicts.
- The process is primarily online, starting with free legal information and tools in the “Solution Explorer”.
- Moves through stages of negotiation and facilitation, allowing parties to reach an agreement at any point.
- If an agreement can’t be reached, a tribunal member can make a final, binding decision.
Tribunal Members are lawyers. Not judges. TM are independent legal experts appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (provincial government), after a merit-based process and consultation with the Chair. All TM must meet specific professional qualifications and competencies: A law degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, preferably in Canada; A minimum of 3-4 years of current and related expertise in one or more of the areas that fall within the CRT’s jurisdiction (e.g., strata property law, small claims, motor vehicle accident law, administrative law); Prior adjudicative experience or applied knowledge of administrative law principles, especially those relating to procedural fairness. All members are also required to take cultural competency, cultural humility, and trauma-informed practice training.
The CRT says that cases are assigned to a tribunal member based on specific criteria, not by choice or random selection by the participants. Yet, Eric Regehr is the Tribunal Member in almost every one of “Jessica Simpson’s” multiple CRT cases – he has the title “Vice Chair – Strata, Societies and Cooperative Associations” – yet he has been the TM on all the intimate images cases at the centre of this X lawsuit.
The CRT does NOT however have Jurisdiction world wide. CRT’s authority is rooted in BC law and the BC justice system, and its reach beyond the province’s borders is limited by principles of private international law and practical enforceability
In theory, giving a handful of lawyers the power to determine if someone has been harmed by another person sharing an “intimate photo” sounds great. For those who are truly being harmed that is.
However, along comes infamous trans identifying man, “Jessica Simpson” of WaxMyBalls fame and the whole system is abused.
Eric Regehr Determined That A Fat Hairy Shirtless Man Holding A Hot Dog is an Intimate Image
In the case IS-1-205-000905 this is referred to as “The Altered Image.”
Tribunal Member Eric Regehr determined that a version of this “deepfake” image above with the head of “Jessica Simpson” was an intimate image under the BC’s Intimate Images Protection Act (IIPA) criteria. Mainly, for transphobia, as noted in Case 1 below.
The 1st Intimate Images Case – Sask. Woman
Let’s go back to February 2021. Jonathan Yaniv, then Jessica Yaniv, straight off a spectacular LOSS in the BC HRT court after suing far too many women of colour for not waxing his balls, decided to cut off his penis and testicles.
While the wound was festering, Jessica Yaniv now known as “Jessica Simpson” decided to snap a photograph of the oozing damage, and posted that picture on Twitter (now known as X) and tagged a doctor, asking for advice. That post was online and visible for about 24 hours, and had multiple comments as seen in the archive of it. You can still see the “OOZE image” aka ‘The Genital Image’ on Andy Ngo X (Twitter) post.
In Spring of 2025 (4 years later) “Jessica Simpson” decided to bring a case in the BC CRT intimate act division against a woman in Saskatchewan, Canada – for allegedly posting that ooze image. In the case IS-1-205-000905 this is referred to as “The Genitals Image.” On March 28, 2025 CRT Tribunal Member Eric Regehr determined that Sask. Woman had shared this image.
That same Sask. Woman also posted a MEME image (hairy hot dog man) that someone unknown to MM had made with AI or photoshop. That image is the upper body of a fat man, that is not wearing a shirt, but is clearly wearing shorts, he is very hairy, and has a humpback with hair on it. The man is holding a hot dog in his left hand and looking at the camera, and the face has been replaced with the face of “Jessica Simpson.” In the case IS-1-205-000905 this is referred to as “The Altered Image.”
MeowMix know these details because “Jessica Simpson” emailed us the full court document with the verdict against the Sask woman – which included the photos.
Now it is plainly not an actual photo of “Jessica Simpson” and even “Jessica Simpson” admits that is a “deep fake” in the CTV NEWS Interview given on the matter in September 2025.
The Tribunal Member Eric Regehr ruled in the favour of “Jessica Simpson” and fined the Sask. Woman $7,500 CAD dollars. Simpson had asked for $25,000. There is a publication ban on the names but immediately after the win, Jessica publicly filed a Judgement for Payment, which clearly named both the Sask. Woman and “Jessica Simpson” on the publicly accessed BC CSO. MM understands that the Sask. woman is appealing the judgement and requesting the case have a judicial review in a BC Supreme Court.
The 2nd Intimate Images Case – DFS
After that win against the Sask. Woman in the Spring of 2025 – “Jessica Simpson” decided to sue a 2nd man, of no permanent residence known as DFS (a long time adversary of “Jessica Simpson”) – alleging he also shared the “OOZE photo” online.
(See X post by Andy Ngo. Also note Jessica Simpson has not sued Andy Ngo for that image.) Once again Tribunal Member Eric Regehr is assigned the case. File number IS-3-2025-000358_and_IS-CC-3-2025-001761 with decision dated May 26, 2025.
However, in this case, DFS was able to show evidence that the photo had in fact been shared worldwide on Twitter (known as X now) in Feb 2021, and that it was publicly shared intentionally by “Jessica Simpson” and the Tribunal Member Eric Regehr agreed. The case was dismissed.
THIS DECISION ALTERED SASK. WOMAN CASE DECISION
Furthermore, the case regarding the Sask Woman, was then revised. The case was re-numbered and re-issued as FILE IS-1-205-000905.
The file has a publication ban on it, however “Jessica Simpson” has emailed copies everywhere, including to MeowMix. This is the case that “Jessica Simpson” used to have the Hairy Hot Dog Man image geo-fenced on X – and it is the centre of the X Corp. v. Jessica Simpson Case.
This left ONLY the hairy backed hot dog man photo aka ‘The Altered Image’ in the Sask. Woman case.
The 3rd Intimate Images Case – Victoria Man
A man from Victoria, BC was then sued by “Jessica Simpson” for yet another image in CRT. Victoria Man alleges that (a) it wasn’t him that ran the account online that shared it and (b) it had been shared publicly by “Jessica Simpson” on Facebook.
Once again Tribunal Member Eric Regehr is assigned the case file #IS-3-2025-002716. The decision was dated July 4th, 2025.
This image was a close up picture of “Jessica Simpson” crotch area, wearing underwear, covering all private parts. There is a maxi pad type of feminine pad inside the underwear, it can be seen, the bits folded out the sides of the underwear. There appears to be bumps on the skin, that could be warts. “Jessica Simpson” has previously been treated for HPV genital warts.
The Victoria Man argued that the anonymous social media account that posted the feminine pad picture was NOT HIM. The Tribunal Member dismissed this and claimed that it was Victoria Man – despite zero evidence of that being factual. It appears that Lawyer / Tribunal Member is bias.
The Victoria Man presented information that the Feminine Pad Picture had been a public image – and again the Tribunal Member dismissed the evidence. The Tribunal Member ruled in “Jessica Simpson” favour and fined the Victoria man $6,000 CAD dollars. There is a publication ban on the names but immediately after the win, Jessica publicly filed a Judgement for Payment, which clearly named both the Victoria Man and “Jessica Simpson” on the publicly accessed BC CSO.
The Victoria Man has filed a claim in the BC Supreme Court (Sept-Oct) to have the case judicially reviewed. Case file # File: 25-12091 On November 6, 2025 at 9:45 am the Victoria Court house put a stay on the $6,000 CSO Payment Judgement – and the case will go ahead. MeowMix wish the man the best of luck reversing this decision.
The 4th Intimate Images Case – X Corp. vs. Jessica Simpson
September 4, 2025 The CRT determines that X Corp – Case IS-2-2025-003711 – even though they geo-fenced the image in Canada, and suspended the account of a Meowmix Supporter only known as Diana Karfyre – CRT says X has to pay $100,000 CAD to the Province of British Columbia for the hairy man holding a hot dog photo aka ‘The Altered Image’ from Sask. Woman’s case IS-1-205-000905.
September 10, 2025 “Jessica Simpson” ran to CTV News (again) to brag about the deepfake win in a video for the news. In the CTV News video, even admits it is not actually even him in the photo.
November 3, 2025 – X files for a judicial review of the CRT fine – naming “Jessica Simpson” as the case shows on the CSO. Case file #S258133. MeowMix – with members continually checking the CSO get the files. MeowMix publish our post about the case.
November 4th 2025 – X Corp file (see attached) shows up with a request stating “Oops, Shitter in the Court File” we forgot that “Jessica Simpson” was anonymous, do you want us to publicly ban the case? A very coy move by the Toronto legal team. Bravo to them for getting the file exposed.
November 5th, 2025 – the CRT representatives respond, and say of course “Jessica Simpson” should be protected from being known as a vexatious litigant in this case.
November 5th, 2025 The Vancouver Sun runs a news article on the case. (Be sure to always check MeowMix’s News Archive for articles.)
November 6th, 2025 – the BC Supreme Court ruled to anonymize the case and put a publication ban on the files, and they all disappeared from public access on the CSO.
Incidentally November 6th, 2025 was also the same day Victoria Man won his stay and the BC Supreme Court decided to proceed with their review of his case.
The 5th Intimate Images Case – Substack Technologies Canada
July 23, 2025 “Jessica Simpson” as we know is “A.Q” in all these cases, loses the Intimate Images lawsuit filed against Substack because it was the same “OOZE photo” aka “The Genitals Image” that was proved to have been publicly shared by “Jessica Simpson” in DFS & Sask. Woman’s cases above. This time Eric Regehr who is once again assigned to Simpson’s file, rules that the case be dismissed due to the May 26, 2025 decision in previous case. AQ v. Substack Technologies Canada, Inc. 2025 BCCRT 1025 is file # IS-3-205-004578 and Substack is not liable – Case dismissed.
“Jessica Simpson” has failed to get rich suing these corporations. The Foreclosure in January 2026 is approaching fast. Even though DFS is happy in jail awaiting trial, as he can not be psychologically harassed and tormented by Simpson anymore, “Jessica Simpson” is still to be arrested on the warrant issued in Alberta for stalking and harassing DFS.
